The Primary Foot Watchmen were the main Gatekeepers regiment to battle under the Duke of Marlborough in Europe for the initial six years of his missions.
In 1704 a power which incorporated the Principal Watchmen went after the French and Bavarian powers on the Danube where they had braced a slope called the Schellenberg.
The Grenadier Organization led the assault.
In 90 minutes the stronghold was taken. Multi week after the fact on the thirteenth August the Skirmish of Blenheim occurred and the Primary Watchmen won the Fight Honor 'Blenheim' The Principal Gatekeepers framed up with five Line Regiments went after a sustained French position, however couldn't take it, yet they made the French take their eye of the ball and make ready for the cavalry to accuse of incredible achievement and crushed the French.
Yet again on the 23rd May 1706 the Main Watchmen were the main Gatekeepers regiment associated with the triumph at Ramillies.
In 1708 The Coldstream Watchmen went along with them and the two regiments were available at the Skirmish of Oudenarde on 11thJuly 1708 and Malplaquet on eleventh September 1709.
The Gatekeepers in the end got back in Spring of 1713.
In 1704 the Stone of Gibraltar was caught from the Spanish. Support were expected to hold it.
A Composite Gatekeepers legion was framed comprising of 200 First Watches and 400 from the Coldstream Monitors and shipped off Gibraltar where they effectively repulsed a few assaults to retake the Stone.
From these activities they gained the Fight Honor 'Gibraltar'.
From that point they took to the Spanish central area and caught Barcelona. In 1707 the English powers were crushed at the Clash of Almanza and compelled to give up.
In 1710 the Scottish Foot Gatekeepers had enlisted in the English Armed force in Spain.
The military was by and by crushed at Brihuega. This subsequent loss finished tasks in Spain.
In 1707 the Demonstration of Association was finished and the Scottish Foot Watchmen were brought south overall interestingly, additionally as of now they took to wearing the Request for the Thorn identification and changed the confronting shade of their uniform from white to Imperial Blue, to match the other two Gatekeeper regiments.
They didn't get back to Scotland again until 1911. In 1712 the regiment was given the title Third Regiment of Foot Monitors a title they held until 1831 when they took on the title Scots Fusilier Gatekeepers.
